Add Communiplate Hold

The Add Communiplate Hold transaction is used to place a hold on a requested plate number and type.
To process an Add Communiplate Hold transaction
1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

Transaction Menu |
1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar. 2.Navigate to Registration Transactions>Plates>Add Communiplate Hold(HLDPLT1) and click it. The Hold Communiplate Add inquire form opens with the customer's information populated. 3.Continue with the steps below. |

1. Enter HLDPLT1 on the Direct command line, then press the Enter key. 2. The Hold Communiplate Add inquire form opens with the customer's information populated. 3. Continue with the steps below. |
2.Enter the Plate Number and Plate Type. Click the selection globe 
button to select a plate type.
3.Click the Inquire 
button. The Hold Communiplate Add transaction form opens with the customer's information populated.
4.In the Hold Request Information section, enter the required information.
5.Click the Process 
button. The Transaction Details dialog appears showing the TRANSACTION PROCESSED message.
6.Click the Close 
button to close the Transaction Details dialog.
7.Click the Close button to complete the transaction.
