Authorized Purchaser ID

Authorized Purchaser ID is the number used to purchase dealer plates. It is usually the driver's license or ID Card number of the authorized purchaser.  Could also be a specially-assigned DMV Customer Number; e.g., a customer has a Maryland Driver's license, works for a VA dealer, and is picking up plates.

This ID is set up through the Dealer Board.
