The CDL 10 Year History Check is used when a Commercial Driver License (CDL) applicant transferring to Virginia from another state is used to record all driver's licenses issued in the past 10 years. Virginia applicants for a CDL renewal or reissue complete this form only if a driver's license history check has not been previously performed.
To add the CDL 10 Year History Check
1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

Transaction Menu |
1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar. 2.Navigate to Customer Transactions>License/ID>CDL 10 Year History Check(CDL10A) and click it. The CDL 10 Year History Check Inquire form opens. 3.Click the Inquire 4.Continue with the steps below. |

1. Enter CDL10A on the Direct command line, then press the Enter key. 2. The CDL 10 Year History Check transaction form opens. 3. Continue with the steps below. |

2.Enter the required information as indicated by the icon and any other information needed.
3.Click the Process button. The Transaction Details dialog appears with the Transaction Processed message.
4.Click the Close button to close the Transaction Details dialog.
5.Click the Close button to complete the transaction.
