EVVE-Customer Electronic Vital Events Calculator

The Customer Electronic Vital Events Calculator checks the information entered (Request Type, Birth Year and Jurisdiction) and determines if the information is valid for using as Legal Presence or Legal Presence and as a Primary ID.
A Certification query is performed through EVVE when a customer does not have their non-Virginia birth certificate in hand and needs to prove Legal Presence.
A Verification query is performed through EVVE when the non-Virginia birth document presented by the customer is questionable. The verification query is a manger or designee function.

To Process the Customer Electronic Vital Events Calculator
1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar. 2.Navigate to Customer Inquiries>Customer>Customer Electronic Vital Events Calculator(CUSEVP) and click it. The Vital Events Calculator inquire form opens. 3.Fill in the required information and then Click the Inquire 4.Continue with the steps below. |

When the request type is a Certification,
1.Click the Certification radio button next to Request Type.
2.Enter the Birth Year
3.Enter the Birth Jurisdiction (State)
4.Click the Inquire 
button.
5.A message will be returned indicating if the certification can be used for Legal Presence only, Legal Presence and as a Primary-ID or not at all.
When the request type is a Verification,
1.Click the Verification radio button next to Request Type.
2.Enter the Birth Year
3.Enter the Birth Jurisdiction (State)
4.Click the Inquire button.
5.A message will be returned indicating if the verification can be used for Legal Presence only, Legal Presence and as a Primary-ID or not at all.
