Driver License / ID Card Surrender

The Driver License/ID Card Surrender transaction is used to surrender a customer's Virginia or out of state license or a Virginia Identification Card.
To surrender a Driver's License or ID card
1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

Transaction Menu |
1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar. 2.Navigate to Customer Transactions>License/ID>Driver License/ID Card Surrender(DLSUR0) and click it. The Surrender Driver License / ID Card Inquire form opens. 3.Click the Inquire 4.Continue with the steps below. |
Command Line |
1. Enter DLSUR0 on the Direct command line, then press the Enter key. 2. The Surrender Driver License / ID Card transaction form opens. 3. Continue with the steps below. |
2.Enter the required information as indicated by the 
icon and any other information needed.
3.Click the Process 
button. The Transaction Details dialog appears with the TRANSACTION PROCESSED message.
4.Click the Close 
button to close the Transaction Details dialog.
5.Click the Close button to close the transaction.
