Heavy Vehicle Use Tax - Maintenance

The Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (HVTMNT) transaction is used to correct or change the HVUT record.
To process a Heavy Vehicle Use Tax transaction
1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

Transaction Menu |
1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar. 2.Navigate to Registration Transactions>Customer Registration>Heavy Vehicle Use Tax(HVTMNT) and click it. The Heavy Vehicle Use Tax inquire form opens with the customer number populated. Enter the vehicle's title number and VIN/VIN4 or VIN, then click the Inquire button again. 3.Continue with the steps below. |

2.The Heavy Vehicle Use Tax maintenance transaction screen opens with the vehicle's information populated.
3.Enter the required information and then click the Process 
button.
4.The Transaction Details dialog appears with the TRANSACTION PROCESSED xxxxxxxx (x's=title number) message.
5.Click the Close 
button to close the Transaction Details dialog.
6.Click the Close button to complete the transaction.
