Customers may request DMV to reactivate their deactivated vehicle registration provided that:
•The registration is unexpired, or expired for 9 months or less and the record is still available in DMV’s system (for purged registrations, process as an original registration in accordance with VLIC-4.000),
•Customer provides the minimum liability insurance provider’s name/National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) code and policy number (verbally or in writing),
OR
The Uninsured Motor Vehicle (UMV) fee is paid.
•If the registration is expired at time of reactivation and the vehicle is uninsured, the system calculates a prorated UMV fee of $0.00.
Please refer to VLIC-4.105 , as needed.
To process a Reactivate Vehicle transaction
1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name. If the customer does not exist, follow your procedures for setting up the customer. mySelect will not allow you to reactivate the vehicle if the customer does not exist.

1.Enter VEHACT on the Direct command line, then press the Enter key. 2.Continue with the steps below.

2.The Reactivate Vehicle inquire form opens. Enter the required key (Title Number or VIN) information.
3.Click the Inquire button. The Reactivate Vehicle transaction form opens with the customer and vehicle information populated.
4.Scroll down and enter the information as needed to reactivate the vehicle.
5.Click the Process button. The Transaction Details dialog appears with the TRANSACTION PROCESSED ######## TITLE RECORD REACTIVATED message (########=the title number).
6.Click the Close button to close the Transaction Details dialog.
7.Click the Close button to complete the transaction.
