Surrender Permit

The Surrender Permit transaction is used to surrender a Handicap Parking Permit when the customer
•Has a temporary permit and wants to obtain a permanent permit OR
•No longer has a need for the permit OR
•The customer is deceased.
Please refer to the Driver's License Guide - Disabled Parking, as needed.
To process a Handicap Parking Permit Surrender transaction
1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

Transaction Menu |
1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar. 2.Navigate to Permit Transactions>Handicap Parking>Surrender Permit(HCPSUR) and click it. The customer's information is populated. 3.Click the Inquire 4.Continue with step 2. |
Command Line |
1. Enter HCPSUR on the Direct command line, then press the Enter key. 2. The Handicap Permit - Surrender form opens. 3. Continue with step 2. |

2.Enter the required information as indicated by the 
icon and then Click the Process 
button.
3.The Transaction Details dialog appears displaying the transaction information and the TRANSACTION PROCESSED MESSAGE.
4.Click the Close 
button to close the Transaction Details dialog.
5.Click the Close button to complete the transaction.
