VA Road Tax Exemption Farm Vehicles

The Virginia Road Tax Exemption Farm Vehicles inquiry is used to review the vehicles registered by a person, firm or corporation who operates vehicles registered for farming purposes that weigh in excess of 26,000 pounds or that have three or more axles. The VA Road Tax Exemption is on the first two registered farm vehicles and are exempted from paying the Virginia Road Tax (VRT) fee.

To inquire on a vehicle with the VA Road Tax Exemption - Farm Vehicles

1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

Transaction Menu	1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar. 2.Navigate to Vehicle Inquiries>Registration Information>VA Road Tax Exemption Farm Vehicle(VRTEXM) and click it. 3.Continue with the steps below.
Command Line	1. Enter VRTEXM on the Direct command line, then press the Enter key. 2. Continue with the steps below.

2.The VA Road Tax Exemption Farm Vehicles screen opens with a grid list of vehicles registered as farm use vehicles.

3.Click the to see more information about the vehicle.
