Veteran Maintenance

The Veteran Maintenance transaction is used to collect military discharge information on a customer in order to apply the Veterans indicator to their credential. This screen is also used to remove the veteran information.

      notes20pxAs of July 1, 2018, the Veteran Maintenance process will replaced the Veteran ID Card Issue process.

Collecting Military Information

1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

Transaction Menu

1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar.

2.Navigate to Customer Transactions>License/ID>Veterans Maintenance(VIDMNT) and click it. The Veterans Maintenance inquire form opens with the customer information populated.

3.Click the Inquire Button_Inquire button to open the Veterans Maintenance transaction form.

4.Continue with the steps below.

Command Line

1.  Enter VIDMNT on the Direct command line, then press the Enter key.

2.  The Veterans Maintenance transaction form opens with the customer information populated.

3.  Continue with the steps below.

 

2.Enter the discharge information under the Military Information section then click the Process Button_Process button.

notes20px To remove the military information, click the YES radio button under the Delete Military Information section, then click the Process Button_Process button.

 

3.No fee is collected for the military discharge information.

4.The Transaction Details dialog appears showing the TRANSACTION PROCESSED message.

5.Click the Close Button_Close button to close the Transaction Details dialog.

6.Click the Close Button_Close button to complete the transaction.
