DESCRIPTION:
CSC Management is responsible for the administration of passwords for all on line systems and passcodes for security entrance keypads in the Customer Service Center (CSC).
CSC MANAGEMENT
Management should ensure the following:
- Employees maintain the confidentiality of their own passwords.
- Passwords shall not be openly posted in the office nor should employees verbally communicate their passwords and/or passcodes to others.
- Employees shall not use another employee's ID card, passwords, and/or passcodes.
- Employees shall not lend or give their ID card to any other person under any circumstance. END REVISION>>>>>
- For CSCNet/CSS access, employees will change their passwords for CSCNet/CSS after expiration of previous passwords (usually after 30 days). Employees may change passwords for CSCNet/CSS prior to expiration through the Teller Utilities Menu.
- For Windows access, the initial password is provided to the employee. The employee may then choose to change their password to one of their own choice. Windows passwords expire in 90 days.
- CSC management will not have knowledge of or maintain a list of employee passwords with the exception of security entrance passcodes as required by the security companies.
