Clearance Letter Print

The Clearance Letter Print transaction is used to print the customer a clearance letter stating their Virginia driving record is clear of any suspension, revocation, disqualifications or cancellations. There is an $8.00 fee for this product.
To Print a Clearance Letter
1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

Transaction Menu |
1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar. 2.Navigate to Customer Transactions>Compliance, Orders and Events>Clearance Letter Print(LTRPRT) and click it. 3.Click the Inquire 4.Continue with step 2. |
Command Line |
1. Enter LTRPRT on the Direct command line, then press the Enter key. 2. The Clearance Letter Print transaction form opens with the customer's information is pre-populated. 3. Continue with step 2. |
2.Verify the address information with the customer and then click the Process 
button. The transaction is processed and theTransaction Details Payment dialog appears.
To print a DL67 - "No Record Found" clearance letter, enter the customer's name, date of birth and gender on the Clearance Letter Print inquire screen. Click the Inquire 
button to open the Clearance Letter Print transaction form. A blank DL67 clearance letter screen will display. Fill in the appropriate fields, click the Process button. Continue with step 3.
4.Click the Process button. The clearance letter is printed and the Receipt Details dialog appears.
5.Print the receipt if requested.
6.Click the Close 
button to close the Receipt Details dialog. The Transaction Details dialog appears with the TRANSACTION PROCESSED message.
7.Click the Close button to complete the transaction.
