Close Settlement allows the user to close a settlement once all transactions have been processed, all teller cash drawers closed, all monies balanced, and all deposit totals entered.
Once a settlement is closed, it cannot be opened again. You can log on to a closed settlement and correct inventory; however, no further transactions can be processed and money cannot be changed.
