The Customer Stops inquiry displays the reason a customer record has a stop and information that will be helpful for the customer to clear the stop.
Some Stops are accessible from the Alerts section of the Customer Console. See Using the Customer Console.
To process a Customer Stop Inquiry
1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

Transaction Menu |
1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar. 2.Navigate to Customer Inquiries>Compliance, Orders and Events>Customer Stop INquiry(STPINQ) and click it. 3.Click the Inquire 4.Continue with step 2. |

Command Line |
1. Enter STPINQ on the Direct command line, then press the Enter key. 2. The Customer Stop Inquiry form opens. 3. Continue with step 2. |

If more than one stop exists, the Customer Stop Selection dialog appears. Click the
button next to the stop on which you would like to inquire.
2. Scroll down the form to view the customer's stop information.
3. Click the Close button to close the transaction.
