The Escort Driver Certification Issue transaction is used to issue a customer an escort vehicle driver permit. The customer must show proof of completing the required 8-hour classroom certification training course before taking the escort vehicle driver certification test. The certificate is valid for 5 years.
If the customer is not in the DMV data base, add the customer (Add Customer - Special) before beginning this process.
To process the Escort Driver Certification Issue
1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

Transaction Menu |
1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar. 2.Navigate to Permit Transactions>Escort>Escort Driver Certification Issue(ESCISS) and click it. The Escort Driver Certification Issue inquire screen opens with the customer number populated. 3.Enter the required keys and then click the Inquire 4.Continue with step 2. |

1.The Escort Driver Certification Issue transaction screen opens with the customer information populated.
2.Enter the required information and click Initiate radio button next to the Initiate / Record. Then click the Process button. This will initiate the Escort Vehicle Driver Certification test via SecuriTest. Send the customer to the testing area.
3.After the customer has completed testing and SecuriTest has logged the results, call the customer to the counter and recall the transaction by doing the following:
a)From the main button bar, click the Transactions button.
b)Click the Select button of the log number for the transaction which initiated the test. The transaction is recalled.
4.Click the Record/Process radio button under Detail Data and then click the Process button.
5.Enter payment information (if applicable) and then click the Process button. The Transaction Details dialog appears showing the transaction process message and print the receipt if requested.
6.Click the Close button to complete the transaction.
