There times when you may need to look up information that is stored in a table. mySelect has access to two types of tables.

1.Local Tables are specialty tables stored in the ORACLE Database that are used by mySelect. These tables may be edited versions of the CSS tables or tables that do not exist in CSS. When you click on a drop down, the list you see is from a local table.

2.CSS Tables are the tables housed on the mainframe and are the main source for special field values used in transaction processing. Some of these tables are downloaded nightly to the mySelect local tables. For some tables, Only the ACTIVE entries are downloaded from the CSS table.
