The Restrictions for non-DUI/Fine & Cost - Change is used to change or amend restriction code(s), restriction time or the authorized date granted by the court on the non-DUI (consecutive) orders and/or the non-payment of fines and cost orders.
If a restricted license has been issued and changes or amendments are made, a new license will need to be re-issued. For more information, see Authorization for Restricted Driver's License.
To correct the order status (from Effective to Restored), click the Yes radio button on the Document Types Amended field, then click Process. This will change the fine and cost order status to Restored(RES). Below are two examples of when this may be used.
1.When a customer pays the reinstatement fee and the multiple order fee(s), then decides they want their money back, uncomply the fine and cost order(s) using Compliance Correction (COMCOR), the order status will display as Effective(EFF). When the customer comes back and pays the reinstatement fee and the multiple order fee(s) again, the order status will still display as Effective(EFF).
2.When changing or amending the restrictions so all fine and cost orders have the same restrictions.
