Special ID Cards are issued by DMV as a service to local and state agencies or organizations provided they have been accepted into the Special ID Card Program. No fee is collected at the CSC and all cards issued are original and can not be reissued or renewal.
To issue a Special ID Card
1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar. 2.Navigate to Customer Transactions>License/ID>Special ID Card Issue(SIDDCI) and click it. The Special ID Card Issue inquire form opens. 3.Continue with the steps below. |

2.In the ID Type field enter the ID type. To choose from a list of valid values, type, click the Globe button. For more help understanding the Search functionality, view the Looking Up and Selecting Values topic.
3.Click the Inquire button. The system displays the Special ID Card transaction form.
4.Enter the required information as indicated by the icon and any other information as needed based on the ID type selected.
5.Click the Process button. The system displays a message indicating the customer's data has been sent to the camera system. Click the OK
button.
6.Follow the standard process for capturing the customer's photo.
7.Once the photo is taken, complete the transaction by clicking the Process button. The Transaction Details dialog appears showing the TRANSACTION PROCESSED message.
8.Click the Close button to close the Transaction Details dialog.
9.Click the Close button to complete the transaction.
