Vehicle Stop Inquiry

The Vehicle Stops inquiry displays the reason a vehicle record has a stop and information that will be helpful for the customer to clear the stop.

To process a Vehicle Stop Inquiry

1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

Alerts Grid

If the customer has less than 10 active vehicles, you will see the following alert:    

Information only

Vehicle Stops Exist - Access VSTPNQ on Vehicles Grid Below

1.Open the Vehicles section to view the list of vehicles.

a) Click the Button_PlusSign to see more information about the vehicle. Click the Button_DownArrow under the Direct column next to the vehicle and select the VSTPNQ Vehicle Stop Inquiry function.

b) Clicking the Button_GreenRightArrow button will launch the Vehicle Stop Inquiry form.

 

If the customer has more than 10 active vehicles, you will see the following alert:    

VEHCUT

Customer has ## active vehicles; Vehicles grid is disabled

1.Clicking the Button_GreenRightArrow button will launch the Vehicles Currently Owned by Customer selection grid.

a) If active, click the More Data Available Button_MoreDataAvailable button to list more vehicles.

b) Click the Button_PlusSign to see more information about the vehicle. Click the Select Button_Select button next to the vehicle.

Click on the green Vehicles bar to open the Vehicles grid and view the vehicles. See Customer Console - Viewing Active Vehicles

Transaction Menu

1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar.

2.Navigate to Vehicle Inquiries>General Vehicle Information>Vehicle Stop Inquiry(VSTPNQ) and click it. The Vehicle Stop Inquiry form opens.

3.Continue with the steps below.

Command Line

1. Enter VEHINQ on the Direct command line, then press the Enter key. The Vehicle Stop Inquiry form opens.

2.  Continue with the steps below.

 

2.Enter the vehicle's VIN and then click the Inquire Button_Inquire button.

3.If the customer has only one stop on the vehicle, the Vehicle Stop Inquiry detail form with the customer and vehicle information populated will open.

If there are more than one stop on the vehicle, the Vehicle Stop Selection grid will open.

a) If active, click the More Data Available Button_MoreDataAvailable button to view more stops.

b) Click the Select Button_Select button next to the stop information for that vehicle. Click the Button_PlusSign to see more information about the stop.

4.Scroll down to view the information as needed.

5.Click the Close Button_Close button to close the form.
