The EZ Pass Issue transaction is used to sell a customer an EZPass transponder kit which can be used immediately. The customer may purchase several kits, but they must be processed one at a time. If the customer is not in the DMV data base, add the customer before beginning this process.
The customer must activate the EZPass transponder through the EZPassVA.com WEB site.
To process the EZ Pass Issue
1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar. 2.Navigate to Customer Transactions>Customer>E-ZPass Issue(EZPASS). 3.Click on the E-ZPass Issue(EZPASS), the E-ZPass Inquire form appears. 4.Click the Inquire 5.Continue with the steps below. |

1. Enter EZPASS on the Direct command line, then press the Enter key. 2. The E-ZPASS Issue transaction form appears. 3. Continue with the steps below. |
2.Enter the required information as indicated by the icon. Enter the kit number of the selected type from inventory and then click the Process
button. The payment box appears.
4.Enter payment information and then click the Process button. The Transaction Details dialog appears showing the transaction process message. Print the receipt if requested.
5.Click the Close button to complete the transaction.
