Motor Vehicle Event (Sun Shading)-Delete

The Motor Vehicle Event (Sun Shading) - DEL transaction is used to delete the Sun Shading event information from the customer's record. The MVEDEL can be found in EVENTS by clicking the drop down next to the MVEINQ.

To process the Motor Vehicle Event (Sun Shading) - DELETE transaction

1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

Alerts Grid	There are no Alerts for this transaction.
Quick Navigation	Not available for this transaction.
Transaction Menu	1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar. 2.Navigate to Customer Transactions>Compliance, Orders and Events>Motor Vehicle Event (Sun Shading) - Delete(MVEDEL). The customer number is populated in the inquire screen. 3.Click the Inquire button to open the Motor Vehicle Event (Sun Shading) - Delete transaction form. 4.Continue with step 2.
Command Line	1. Enter MVEDEL on the Direct command line, then press the Enter key. 2. The Motor Vehicle Event (Sun Shading) - Delete transaction form opens. 3. Continue with the steps below.
Events Selection	Go to EVENTS to see the customer's Sun Shading event(s).

2.Click the "YES" radio button in the Application Information section, then click the button to remove the sun shading event from the customer's record and special condition from the associated vehicle. The Transaction Details dialog appears with the TRANSACTION PROCESSED message.

The MED-21 form may contain multiple vehicle VIN's for this customer. A MVEDEL will need to be processed for each VIN listed.

If the Special Condition of "SUN" is still on the title record, it can be removed in TTLMV3 if your security role allows it.

3.Click the Close button to complete the transaction.

4.Go to Reprint Registration/Overload/Non-Repairable to reprint the registration card which will NOT show the vehicle having Sun Shading. Hand the new registration card to the customer.
