NDR Employment Transcript

The NDR Employment Transcript transaction is used to process customer requests for NDR driving records. By Federal law, an employer can make an inquiry to the NDR through DMV to obtain information regarding a driving record. Information requirements are different depending on the type of vehicle the employee is expected to operate (motor vehicle, locomotive or airplane).

To process the NDR Employment Transcript

1.If not already open, Open the Customer Console using the customer's number or name.

Transaction Menu

1.Click the Transaction Menu button in the Main Menu Bar.

2.Navigate to Transcript Transactions>NDR Employment Transcript(NDREMP) and click it. The NDR Employment Transcript inquire form opens with the customer's information populated.

3.Continue with the steps below.

Command Line

1.  Enter NDREMP on the Direct command line, then press the Enter key.

2. The NDR Employment Transcript form opens with the customer information populated.

        notes20px If the customer is NOT in the DMV database, set up the customer using Add Customer or Add Customer - Special

2.Enter the required information as indicated by the Button_RequiredField icon and then click the Process Button_Process button. The payment box appears.
3.Enter payment information and then click the Process Button_Process button. The Receipt Details dialog appears and a receipt may be printed if requested.
4.Click the Close Button_Close button to close the Receipt Details dialog.  The Transaction Details dialog appears.
5.Click the Close Button_Close button to complete the transaction.
6.The transcript will be printed in the overnight batch process and mailed to the employer address provided.
