This function is reserved for lead/management level roles

mySelect provides for the splitting of plate packs for purposes of transferring plates to another branch office or mobile unit. One pack can be split into a maximum of six smaller packs.

To split plate packs

1.If the Inventory Management Console is not already open, from the main button bar, click the Inventory button. The Inventory Management Console appears.

2.Expand the Plate inventory item until the plate type is displayed by clicking the next to its name.

3.Right-click on the pack you want to split.  A pop-up appears.

4.Select Split Plate Pack from the pop-up.

5.In the # of Items in Pack field, enter the number of plates you want in the first pack.

6.If you want to create multiple smaller packs, repeat step 5 until you've entered the total number of packs to  create.

7.Click the Split Pack button.

If the total number of plates does not equal the count of the original pack, the following dialog appears advising the remainder are rolled over to a new pack.  Click the OK button to continue.
 

The confirmation dialog appears.

8.Click the OK button.

9.You must now split up the plates based on the new pack size(s), and verify the item counts based on the split transaction you just completed.
